CLASSIC THAI DISHES
Our good friend Chorchaba grew up cooking in the family restaurant in Bangkok. It wasn’t for tourists, only for locals who knew exactly what they liked and there were no recipes and not even a menu. Dishes were cooked as requested balancing out the five essential flavours of Thai dishes.
On this full day session you’ll walk through some classic dishes with Chorchaba explaining how to create and adjust them as you go. You’ll stop for lunch to taste and evaluate your efforts before returning to the kitchen to create your own Thai supper to take away and share.
You will make Tom Yam Khung - traditional soup flavoured with lemon grass, galangal & prawn; Todman Pla flavourful Thai fishcakes; Kew wan gai – chicken green curry & sticky rice; Moo pad king – stir fried pork and ginger and the wonderful Pad thai – rice noodles with tamarind sauce.
Price: £160.00 including lunch, ingredients, tea, coffee, and refreshments. Equipment and aprons are provided for the day.
