We love a good pie here at Harthill. A proper pie that is, one with a top AND a bottom of crisp flaky pastry; add in a pudding and you’ve got one of our most popular courses.

You’ll be taken through the pastry making process with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and pointers towards any potential pitfalls. You’ll then craft your own pie filling and seasonal pudding before taking them away to share with family and friends. Along the way you’ll learn skills such as: pastry making, braising, knife work, baking and caramelising.

This is the perfect course to dispel any pastry making demons you may have.

You'll sift, rub, rest and roll your way, learning pastry techniques to correct faults as you go.

And best of all, you'll take home a lovely Steak 'n' Ale Pie and Sticky Apple Pudding with Toffee Sauce  


Price £85.00 Including ingredients, tea, coffee and refreshments.

Equipment and aprons are provided for the day.

All products are to take home.
