Special Festive Dinner with Connie SOLD OUT

Event Start Date: 09/12/2017 18:45

Event End Date: 09/12/2017 21:00

Our Dine ‘n’ Dems are a different way to enjoy dinner, spending time with friends in our beautifully restored Victorian school hall. Don’t just eat dinner – be part of it as we take you through the dishes, their flavours and history.

It’s not so much private dining (though numbers are limited) as a communal, collaborative and relaxed affair. It will be a memorable evening for yourselves or a lovely memory making gift for friends.

We’ll welcome you with a drink and some nibbles before seating you around our demonstration area complete with camera so you won’t miss a thing. Connie has devised a special three course festive feast & together with Brian will talk you through the dishes assembling them in front of you. During this time there’s plenty of opportunity to ask questions, chat with our tutors & fellow guests. Our menu for the evening: -

Parsnip & Apple Soup

Cooked with a suspicion of cider served with curry dusted crisps a warm cheese & walnut scone and offered with lashings of butter

Cherry Smoked Turkey Risotto

Our turkey is smoked on our barbecue over cherry wood chips before being sliced into a creamy risotto spiked with white wine, slow roasted garlic a spot of sage and the occasional chestnut

Steaming Seasonal Greens

The Pear Dessert Indeed

Not just a dull poached pear, rather a gathering of glorious flavours, crunches & crumbles.

The pear mousse carries hints of seasonal cinnamon and ginger, a rich chocolate centre, scatterings of chocolate crumb brought together with a caramel cream sauce

You may well come as guests but will leave as friends.
