Masala Madness

You’ll never reach for the ‘ready mixed’ again once Zalena has taken you through the blending of your own authentic aromatic creations.

Masalas and pastes form both the foundations and add the finishing touches to fantastically flavoured Indian dishes. Learn how to blend and use your very own masalas, what each of the spices add and then apply these to making some wonderful dishes you will take away to enjoy.

On this course you will learn how to make garam masala, adulassan (garlic/ginger paste) and mircha paste (bird’s eye green chilli and cumin paste).

You will then use each of them to create a range of dishes including a tasty lamb kheema, Bombay potatoes, samosas as well as a refreshing raita. 

Price includes all ingredients, tea, coffee and refreshments.

Equipment and aprons are provided for the day.
